  1. Ok these comments are scaring me. I'm in nursing school and was secure in the fact that I would have a job when I graduate? We live in Ohio right now but are planning on moving to Raleigh, NC. We would like to anyway.
  2. Thanks for the info. I signed up for coding only because I had a little experiance in it, Ive seen a few jobs for it here in Columbus at Grant Hosp. I just want to get on at a Hospital that will pay for my nursing classes or at least help. I have no previous experiance in the medical field besides the few months I temped as a coder but may be I should look into the transcription if it will be a better chance at getting a job. Ive been a Cust Serv Rep for 7 yrs at a pension fund. Hmmmm. Not sure , I'll have to think on this one. Thanks for all the info guys.
  3. What do you think about medical transcription?
  4. I just recently had a baby and am planning on going back to school for nursing, I stopped once I got closer to my due date. However I was planning on taking a 8mth course in Medical Coding and billing so I can get a job in a hosp here that will pay for my education as long as I work for them for 2 yrs. Anyone have any input on medical coding and can I make a decent income? with the baby I could really use the better pay while going to school.
  5. Im looking on the website-which program are you speaking of exactly I cant find it??
  6. Thanks! Wow your an inspiration, that must have been something else. I feel like such a whoos now for complaining!
  7. Thanks for all the info ladies. Mine is only a 2 yr program, assoc. degree. I still have a ways to go and if I can just make it through these two math classes. If youv'e seen me on here before I stress waaaaaaay to much about it. Failing the Algebra class once already makes me nervous, now Im just trying to figure out if Im going to take it in Spring Qtr or wait till after I have my baby. Im in my 2nd trimester.
  8. Thanks JMA, What Math classes did you have to take?
  9. Also, I was wondering, do all nursing programs require you to take statistics? I attend Cols State and that my last Math class, some people were saying that not all do or that they didn't see why we had to take it? Any info would be helpful. Thanks =)
  10. Hi Guys, JMA, where do you go to school?
