New Nurse Needs Help!!!

Published

I am a new grad and started my first professional nursing job on March 3rd. These first 2 weeks have been spent doing the typical orientation tasks, computer orientation, followed by a orientation to critical care course this week. To successfully pass this class we have to pass 2 tests - critical care meds test and a dysrhythmia test - I passed the medication test with flying colors but can't say the same for the dysrhythmia test. I have taken it twice and didn't pass either time because on both I got 2 deadly rhythms mixed up & that was an automatic fail.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a website that would assist me with remediation in preparation for taking the test for a 3rd time on Monday? Or possibly a book that I could purchase at Barnes & Noble?

I'm worried that I won't be able to pass again on Monday thus delaying my start date with my preceptor on Tuesday & possibly putting my job at risk.

Thanks!
