:yeah:You did great ! At my school you have to get at least 79% to get in it is alot of hard work and critcal thinking involved. I started Sept.2 and already the weeding process as started. We had 24 in our classes now we are down to about 19.

Hey Redraven, so Your class started out with 24 Students now its down to 19? What happen to the other 5 student? Did they drop because the program was difficult or did the School Drop them because of poor test grades????? Just curious, I dont know how other Nursing schools are.
Yes , im also a new LPN student i started on September 3,2008.We started with 77 and now down to 73. They just decided to drop due to personal reasons:bow:
Congrats!!!!!!!
I started the LPN program in August & my advice would be to make sure all your affairs are in order because you have no room for error & no time for a social life...lol. Tell your husband/boyfriend & kids that you love them and you will see them in a year....lol. It takes a lot of work & drive, for sure. My class started with 46 students & we have lost 7 so far. We have our first final on Oct. 22 & we have about 7 more that if they don't pass the final they are dropped from the program. The instructors said that last year had the most students to ever graduate out of this program @ 40 students. Good Luck & make sure you stop & take a breath throughout it all, you will do fine.
Congrats on being accepted into the PN program. I like many of you have also started down this road to becoming a nurse. I have been in school since January doing all the prereq's for the Healthcare Assistant program which is the only way to get into the PN program at my school. Well that part is now behind me and I'm officially in the PN program. The PN program is 12 months but in total the whole program with HCA and PN is 21 months. In hindsight if all these changes had of been decided upon before I started I would have tried to get into the 2 year ASN but no since of crying about it now. I just had to rework my plan and this way comes out better actually, because I will be able to work as a LPN before going into the LPN to RN bridge program.
Good Luck Everyone.
congratulations to you. Its tough so my advice to you is to get your priorities in order cause u have one hell of a journey in front of you. I graduate as an LPN next month. Its been so tough on me, in order to remain in the program I had to kept up with an 85 in every area. You can do it if u put your mind to it.
