Hi all!! I was wondering what the new grad salary is in NYC. I would like to know what hospitals are offering new grads these days.
Mt. Sinai: Starting hourly rate is $54.2909!
hi, did you apply in ICU unit and your experience in ICU for 3 yrs added on base rate?
I heard base rate in Mt sinai In 2020 is 49 and some cents + BSN+ experiences + night difference!
plus anyone has ideas for NYP. Mt sinai. NYU base RN rate in 2020?
thank you advanced!
I’m not a new hire, but I work in an ICU. This information came from several recent new grad/new hires on various units. You’ll start as a Staff Nurse, then after a year, you’ll get a raise and be a Clinical Nurse.
In general, as a new grad with a BSN, you should expect roughly $50/hr base salary and roughly $3/night differential at most NYC hospitals in 2020.

Hey, good point! I actually got hired into the float pool which is 10% differential on top of the base pay, which you correctly stated. It's $49.3554/hr!
And do add, $0.6648/hr for BSN, and I got $1.1251/hr for 3 years experience.
