Have you looked at craigslist-I saw a few listings for LPN's in the Akron area. I also came across a website-juju.com. You can also check there. HTH!! Don't give up!!

Same here in Massachusetts. They all want experienced LPN. Anyone around worked in ambulatory care as lpn? What is it like? Will a new grad fit there? Thank you so much for your help!

This is a great website and they will send you job alerts daily. Don't give up, you ARE experienced if you have done clinicals! Send your resume anyway, make it a skills based resume. There are some jobs that say "new grads welcome" and there are soooo many in New York, I don't know how you aren't getting hired in NYC!!
also try the regional help wanted sites. Regionalhelpwanted.com

As someone who regularly sits on interview panels with my facility, no, clinicals do not count as experience. Sorry, most places feel this way as far as I know. But good luck to you guys in your job search.
things are a little rough there as far as the patient load and other things. but it is good to stick it out there for at least 1 year there, since they are the only place that i know of that is quick to hire new grads.

Same here. I live in Ma. I graduated in June, passed my Nclex in August. I filled out more than 20 application forms but nobody contacted me. It is soooo frustrating. I desperately need a job. I'm actually thinking of working as a CNA.My husband thinks it's dumb...I don't know what to DO! I really need help I can get.
