Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Hi cheskaval. Just want to ask something. You're enrolled in IHNA right? because i was given an offer letter and they were asking me to pay 1000 aud for the enrollment fee. Now, do they automatically deduct it from the BP tuition which is 11,500 or is enrollment fee considered as an additional fee? (aside from 500 aud on-line course)any input will be highly appreciated.
thanks!
i just asked someone else and she said she just paid the enrollment fee. so im confused all over again. im still waiting for a reply as to how she paid for it.
Hey chekaval and baesa :)You only need to pay a 1000aud enrollment fee and the 500 online course fee to secure your slot. Those are included in the 11500 tuition fee so your balance to pay before the program starts will be 10k aud. You can pay either through bank transfer or credit card online. I had a hard time paying by credit card as they had a system problem on their website so i ended up doing bank transfer :)

It kinda ended up people arguing regarding the process so let me voice thing out. Ive been quiet for quite a while. First, no people is forcing you to apply to this country marcopol. I know its hard to wait and for far too long. But it wont help your cause to make tantrums. I mean there are a lot of people o the same boat as you are. I doubt that ahpra is making money for this. Aussie isnt that poor you know. If you cant wait then venture to another country. Thats all there is. I tried to keep quiet but its pain staking to read all you complaints. Try to forward that frustration to the nmba and you might find your answer.. And for those who are asking if there are a lot of jobs here, there is a lot. But very few are willing to sponsor for 457 visa. If you visit seek.com or any site looking for jobs they always put in the end that you must have your work right here.. But some were written that they are sponsoring. Let me site an example of how hard it is to get a job here. A friend recently finished his bp last nov 2011 in unisa.. As of the moment he still has no job. But i knw some that ended up having a job after the bp. Maybe it goes with luck i guess.. Its a pain reading this argument. Someone needs to step up to this one. Thnx guys..
Hey mates, I'm not angry it's not worth it. I'm entitled to my opinion whether you agree with me or not. you sounds very righteous. maybe you're indenial of the situation that's why you're reacting that way I pity you. cool down you're acting like you're one of the share holder of ahpra for you to say those things. when they took our payments for registration they are faster than the bullet I salute them for that. now releasing time..only God knows when. Money making at it's best!!
Hi Marcopol. I understand how u feel. we're on the same boat. cheer up!!
