Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

In what part of the CV will we be writing the said seminars and trainings as shown in the standard format of AHPRA?
It's oki to include that as long as you have followed the main details in the Standard Format for Curriculum Vitae . . . .You can put that in between Work History and Gaps in Work .. . . . That is what i did in my CV. . .
Hi good day!
I'm new here in this forum and i have some questions, hopefully someone can help me. :)
1. Do i need first to get the score of 7 in IELTS before i apply at AHPRA for letter of eligibility? Or i can apply for the letter while i'm reviewing for IELTS?
2. Do i need nurse related work here in RP to be qualified?
3. Do we send our application for through email only? Is there a way to talk to someone through phone who works at AHPRA for counselling?
Please help me. Thanks and God Bless!

Thank you ladydee-rn. Are you done with your BP already? God Bless!:thankya:
so i was told that the decision on my application will be after the Feb. 16 board meeting. It's Feb. 17. Do you think it's okay to e-mail AHPRA-ACT regarding the outcome? I've been waiting for the decision since AUGUST!
and i'm under the impression that when they say "board meeting", it's the whole NMBA, not just the ACT office. Are all overseas application undergo this board meeting before approval?
whew! a long thread.. lots of nurses.. different stories.. lucky to have found this!
im currently processing my enrolment for my bridging program in south australia and then visa next week..
my course will start on 3rd of april and i am really rushing things..
may i hear some tips or advice? :)

It depends on what state/territory you want to be assessed whichever is faster but you can still practice anywhere in Oz. You can check the AHPRA website for that.
