Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

AHPRA ACT - Australian Capital Territory, in Canberra specifically.
Well I also got a confirmation that they received all my documents November 22, 2011 and up to now I'm still waiting for the assessment outcome. I emailed them and the 2 person handling my application (one being the Director of Registrations) are both on-leave. So they said I might hear from them within 2 weeks of them coming back to work.
Just email them. Better yet, call them.

Hi,
If you already have enrolled in e-learning, then definitely your offer letter will be yours soon. Aside from that, you have to pay the enrolment fee which is if im not mistaken AUD500.
