Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

hello there, i also worked in KSa but i wasnt able to get polica clearance. will they ask for it in visa application?
then im gonna be DEAD, it takes whole 2-3 mos before they wil release it, snail paced system govt huhuhuhu.

Are you referring to the Police Clearance? it will only take 3-4 working days but you have to be physically present at the police station because they will require finger printing

i know but that is if im in saudi arabia, but im here in philippines now. so my prob is how will i able to secure a police clearance when its not possible at all. and this deragatory record will tke a long time to process.. will they really require to submit this thign in 456 application? is ther any possible options i can have, because i dont know if i will be able to secure this cert. from phil embassy maybe im beyond the deadline date. will they consider it?

I just got wind from a friend that WA is now clogged up with so much applications that she hasn't received her RN license until now. She finished her bp last Aug. They said it's now faster in Vic. Just don't quote me on this.

I secured mine before I left Saudi but I think that is valid only for some time. Will they require that one. Because I don't have any other means of securing that document again.
I would just like to ask about the clinicals of ETEA and IHNA. It used to be that their placements are just nearby melbourne area. However, I learned from a very reliable source that some students have been sent to as far as Tasmania. Oh my!!!
Anyway, when is the next earliest intake for bp schools in Melbourne? I'm scouting for a friend of mine who would like to enroll as soon as possible.

...hi try to search "Philippine Embassy in Riyadh-consular services (Saudi Police Clearance)" they can issue Police clearance even you're outside the kingdom but i guess it will take time...i've read this from their site...
"However, for Australia and other countries that do not accept the No Derogatory Record issued by Riyadh PE, we are ready to continue receiving and endorsing the applications for the Saudi police clearance, but the applicants must be aware of the documentary requirements and duration required to obtain such police clearance."
