New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

as outlined in my email we will be interviewing for our january program in november , we will contact you prior to that time for an interview time

god's luck guys...

Hellow Raze!

That's NOT what IDP here in Cebu told me. In order for us to pass without any hassles at NAIA, the passport must be stamped by The Australian Embassy. IDP had asked this several times at VIA Center here and agreed to its need.

Anyway its just a P500, a medical receipt and your passport...

When will you be going to VIA? Where is it located in Cebu? SO all you will need wil be those 3: Php500, medical receipt and passport? Maybe your TRN also?

"sa Ayala..." Probably just a typo, right? LOL Do you think the stamping thingie will be quick? Like, less than a day? The soonest I would be able to go to VIA would be around the end of October.

Alright, I'll wait for your call. Might just call you later myself to talk about those tickets. I wasn't able to answer last night as I left my phone at home. Sorry...

Same here. I was actually very disappointed on how they've handled my application. I applied last August 4 but I experience a month of delay since they have to make some clarifications with AHPRA regarding my IELTS. So to expedite my application I did contact AHPRA directly and it just took me a day to receive their reply. I forwarded AHPRA's reply to LTU and after a day I received my offer letter. They only sent the letter of offer late last week. Like you they've offered me a slot for the May intake but I refused. *rolleyes*

I am going to send my application to AAON, INHA and Alpine Health.

[color=rgb(65, 105, 225)]checked my inbox today and this is the message i received from ahpra:

"i refer to your application for general registration (graduate or trained overseas) as a registered nurse received on 23 august 2011. assessment of your application form and all documentary requirements has been assessed.

should the board find you eligible to enrol in an accredited registration bridging program, an email confirmation will be sent."

it seems vague. what do they mean about that?

hello zonroxrn. to which state did you send your application? thank you. :)

Hi guys, i have sent my application to ahpra today. Verification was sent some time back in july. after this, will i get some correspondence from ahpra acknowledging receipt of my documents? if so, how soon, approximately? Or am i only going to get some correspondence after a determination is made on my application or when they need to clarify something with me? Please help!

Hi. AHPRA will acknowledge the receipt of your documents. I sent mine Sept. 6. My docs arrived ahpra Sept. 9. However, they informed me Sept. 19. 10 days after. I think nowadays, it will take longer because my friend sent her docs a week after and until now they haven't acknowledge receiving the docs.

Hi! Invanz, How is this institution related to Alpine Health? Because the information sheet that was provided by Alpine to me is exactly the same. Are they affiliated or are these institutions really just one and the same? TIA:)
