Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

can we apply to ltu through email? and by the way... does the student visa grant a longer stay than a 456 visa? thnx... will be applying to ltu for the may 2012 slot but i guess we have to pay 80 au dollars for the application.. oh well, God bless us all.IHNA and AAON are taking an awful lot of time processing applications...
Yes you can apply through email but still you need to " submit your originals or certified copies of academic qualifications to La Trobe International before or at the time of accepting your offer"
I opted to submit mine by post.
hi can you apply to various schools at the same time for BP or is that not ok?
I am sorry but i can't get your query here.
Do you mean applying schools having a bridging program? You could send your application to various schools as long as you meet and pass all the required docs.

You can apply for various schools at the same time as long as those schools do have a Bridging Program. It's okay.
In fact someone has posted here that if you should try to apply to as many as you can provided of course that you don't plan to settle in a particular state then you should limit your options to that particular state.
Oh sorry for being confusing :)
Thanks! The agency said I couldn't do that since.. I don't really understand the reason they gave me. Something about..once you're accepted, you're enrolled right away. What if I'm not accepted? Then I would be wasting precious time. sigh. But I have read that people were doing that here.. just wanted to be sure.
hi guys,
I got registered with BON Victoria, before AHPRA was made, back then, they did not require any experience to receive an eligibility, my problem now is I'm set to take my BP this October, would it be a problem to my application to AHPRA after BP if I don't have the 3 months required experience?
