New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

guys, what do I have to prepare when I request for Certificate of good standing in PRC? Is it my PRC license only and cash?

You have to prepare

1 Cash (200 for ordinary mail, takes 2 - 4 weeks; 1,100 for express, takes 3 - 5 working days)

2 PRC ID

You will ask for a form, fill it up.. Place the address where you want your Certificate of Good Standing to be mailed.. You have to know the address of the boards in specific states, you can see them on the AHPRA site on Contact Us below..

Hope it Helps.. :)

i don't know if they're not responding to me or it just really takes time before they reply.

Guys, I'm kind of confused.

I'm already done with my ANMC assessment and I already got my determination letter saying that I need to undergo BP. What should I do next?

Should I..

-Register with AHPRA? (I already downloaded the application form for international nurses but I don't know where to send it and all that)

-enroll in a bridging program already?

-contact NMBA? (should I request ANMC to forward my files to them?)

Please help. :)

I do not have any idea what to do first but I am planning to set an appointment with IDP maybe this week or next week. I am so clueless at this point in time.

If you have the form the address to send it is on page 9.

The form also on page 9 states how to send it. With all due respects, please from page one of this forum....

The form also discusses what requirements need to be sent with it, after reading the form...if you have anymore queries, everyone here would be most happy to answer.

There is only one BP program that does not require you to be already assessed by AHPRA, this is the ARNTP program at the University of South Australia, could you please do your own research on this one. http://www.unisa.edu.au. Some forumers have completed this course. I would not bother sending any ANMC forms as they only deal with immigration policies. Ahpra will also assess your education and professional experience and either request further education or bridging program or refer to board for review. Then you apply to the other BP programs, please search the AHPRA site for the other bridging programs.
