Hi. I took 2 core classes at a time. I'm taking each specialty course by itself until the start of practicum ( anticipated start for practicum is dec 2015) due to the amount of material contained in these courses. I also still work a full time schedule. I began my FNP program in fall 2013 and took a session leave of absence last dec so I could enjoy the holiday season with my family. It's definitely a rigorous program but I feel like I've made definite progress toward my goal. Feel free to ask me any questions you may think of. :)

So what classes, do you think is the hardest? How is the assesment class? Do you have, the. Practicum line-up and ready to go? Each of classes are 11weeks long right?

Also I'm starting in the November's class, but want to start in August...my enrollment counselor says it's full...However, someone states to switch to GERO-NP, so I can start taking my core classes but my counselor says there's no guarantee that I will be able to switch back to FNP in November. She says I probably will have to wait till next quarter after November start. So that is risky, but I can do it and thought about it However I decided to wait for opening come up.

I'm in the adult/ gero ACNP program starting Monday. I got my class plan and they transferred 85 credits! I don't have to take any classes except for the nursing classes. This semester I will be taking the foundations of graduate study and research. So far, it has been smooth sailing but I haven't actually started class yet. I'm pretty sure I'm on track to complete in two years. Keep in touch!

That would be awesome!

Hi. Just wanted to check in and c how your classes r going! I finished the foundations class. It was pretty simple and just showed you the ropes. I also finished the humanities class. It was a lot more work but very interesting. I started statistics this week. So far so good.
