I started the nursing program and just finished my first round of clinicals while pregnant. I go back to school full-time in the fall with a newborn at home. Has anyone got through nursing school with a baby at home? Being a full time student? Any advice?

I had a friend in nursing school that had a baby mid-semester (beginning of November)..she was not able to finish that semester, but came back in January. It was hard for her, sleepless nights, coordinating childcare for class, clinical, and studying, but she had a wonderful support system (mom, dad, sister, and her inlaws).. she managed it all and graduated 6 months after her projected graduation date.

I can be done and it will take a lot of dedication and some sacrifice but it will be so worth it in the in. I can't speak yet for nursing school but I had my third baby while attending school full time. I have three small children and will hopefully be starting nursing school in the fall. You can do it! Congrats on your bundle of joy!
And advice wise I would say try to be organized. Organization is very important. Also if you have a support system like family of significant other utilize their help. Especially with a newborn. And lastly make sure you take care of yourself. You got to be healthy for your baby!
