Nervous about starting accelerated nursing program

Hi all!

This fall I will be starting an accelerated nursing program at Chamberlain at the Addison campus and to be completely honest, I am SUPER nervous. I think what I'm most nervous about is just how fast paced everything goes and all I keep thinking about is what if I can't get used to it. I've taken plenty of accelerated classes before and had no problems in the past but now we're talking about nursing school. I have most of my pre reqs done except for algebra, economics, and stats. It's a new experience for me and I'll be starting at a new school so I don't know anyone but I'm not worried about making friends because I'm friendly. I just wanted some feedback, advice, tips anything would be helpful for those of you in an accelerated program. How do you deal with the stress of it all? How did you adjust in your program? I'm single, early 20s, no kids, live with my parents. I have a great support system. Reality is setting in for me and school is starting soon. Ahhh! Lol.

Oh, also if anyone who attended chamberlain at the Addison campus I would greatly appreciate your feedback from the program too:)

Thanks everyone! Sorry for the extremely long post too lol.

Yeah I'm definitely enjoying my summer too. This has been the first summer In maybe 2 1/2 years that I'm not taking any summer classes and I'm doing as little as possible with my summer. All I've been doing is working and relaxing and having so much fun doing it. I'm resting up because the next 2 years of my life are going to be hectic lol. I started looking back on old notes from my cna course and other classes too. I haven't looked on YouTube yet. It actually slipped my mind but that's a good idea! But soon I'll start getting school supplies and other things. We can do this! Nursing school will be hard but it's what we signed up for lol. Good luck in your program and thanks for responding back! :)
