Hello, I will start LPN school on Monday 1/6/14.....I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am nervous because it's the "unknown" of knowing what to expect, and I'm not the BEST TEST TAKER, can someone tell me what to expect, and how can I calm my nerves when it comes to test taking"? I'm overwhelmed already and haven't even started school yet! Lol. I just want to do Great!......Help a scared student

Today is your first day! Please come back and update us when it's over :). I haven't started LPN school yet (hopefully in April), but I have taken Anatomy and Physiology and classes like that. I used an online flashcard program to help me study. It's called StudyBlue (you can just google it). It was a lot faster than trying to write out hundreds of notecards. I also downloaded the app for it on my phone so I could study on the go. It was a HUGE help for me getting through those classes.

Actually they cancelled classes today due to the weather here in Ohio :(......I was sad because this old lady was ready to learn :)) what was shocking that you remembered that my Big Day was today that meant a lot thank you, when you are taking a New, Exciting Journey like this by yourself it feels good when someone you don't even know wish you the well:).....Now I just have to get ready for tomorrow's journey lol. I was talking to a few people who also told me to go in with confidence and no FEAR! And don't tell no one my grades lol and I'm going to take all what people are telling me And use it to my advantage. :))

Moving forward...... I too am starting school on 1/6/14.. I'm more excited than nervous!! I'm a register medical assistant and have worked 5 years in an private in home health care business... My coworkers claim that I'll be fine with my experience but I just don't know what to expect!! I wish you the best of luck!![/quote']

Deidre1017------Please tell me how your first day went I'm eager to know?!?!? My classes was CX due to the weather :( As soon as I get my nerves to calm down now they back up again for tomorrow's class lol...... What school are you attending? And did I mention I'm a MA too?

Systoly!!! My first day was actually today and I really enjoyed myself ;) ....All I heard about was ATI testing :0.....But you blame me for the Bengals lost really?!?

Hahaha....The Chargers shut them down!!!

Moving Forward.....

Hey!!!! I did get to attend class on Monday, it was A LOT of information!!! When I got home I was really overwhelmed and my brain was fried!! lol. I'm taking 3 classes this term which are: nurse fundamentals ( Monday) pharmacology ( Tuesday) and nurse fundamentals lab ( Wednesday & Thursday). Each class is 6 hours and they cover the material rather quickly. I attend southern crescent tech in Georgia. I hope you enjoyed your first day!!!

Please see let me give you the update on my progress in nursing school. Well I started on 1/6/14 and I must say this have been the most stressful journey of my life! But I love school, I'm going into my third quarter! I only have 2 more quarters left!! And I really can't believe how this nervous women made student of the quarter!!! I just want to say thank you for all your encouraging words :))
