Ok, so some of you read my other posts...I am giving notice TODAY. My immediate supervisor is NOT in (of course, that's my luck). But my assistant manager is. I HAVE to submit this thing, because my new position starts in about a month, and I need to give them one month's notice. I am so nervous, my stomach hurts. Please tell me it will be ok. I feel so bad...but I am so excited for my new position, it is going to open so many doors for me! I am just scared..need some encouragement.

Only one sugestion. Make it clear what your last day to work will be. Some places say a week is only 7 work days which could be up to 2 1/2 weeks in real time.

Best wishes on your new job.

I know this thread is a few months old, but I am going to one of my employers ( I have two jobs right now) tomorrow to tell them I am leaving for a full time job. I start orientation this week. I feel bad that it's gonna be like 3 days notice, but I work at an agency and they have tons of ppl there. I hope everything goes well. :uhoh3:
