Nervous about my first day of Anatomy & physiology 1

The best thing I can tell you is take lots of notes! Whether or not you have a good memory, there's lots of info in A&P, and if you take tons of notes, you won't "fall off the boat" later on. Flashcards work great too! And one more thing - try not to just study for the test, but really try and learn the material, b/c all your nursing classes build on A&P and you'll need that knowledge later.

Hello!! I too was nervous on my first day last week, and your right it is all about memorization, but I started making flashcards as soon as my professor started giving out notes. Thank God for Blackbored! This class don't seem like its going to be hard just alot of studying. But I did purchase the A&P Study Group 101 and A&P for dummies which both are great to have. Just remember were all in this together!!!! Let's try to make this class fun!

Its alot of memorization and understanding how the body systems work. You may want to ask your professor to give you an idea about how the exams are going to look like. In one of the exams my A&P 1 professor put about 80 skeletal bones on the tables in the lab and we had to walk around identifying them.

Many people have passed and you are not different from them. Work hard and you will succeed. All the best.

Hello all, yesterday i told you guys that I was very nervous about my first day. well,I went today:yeah: OMG!!!!! guys am in for a ride,because after intro and name my professor told us that even thought we only have her two days a week rain or shine we will have home work every night!!!! plus she went in right away with home work assignment (Microscope) evry single part need to memorized. Plus Observertion:(Scientific Methods) Hpothsis, Experiment, variable and Conclusions. :confused: Well guys i wont give up, and I am truly thankful for all the encouragements you guys post me.
