Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

For the 10 year forgiveness don't you have to consolidate thru direct loans and then they start counting towards your 10 years ???

I am about hysterical. I cant keep my mind focused on my work or on my schoolwork due to checking adn rechecking. Please Lord let there be a second signature tomorrow so I can end this psychotic behavior.:crying2::nailbiting:

Really guys, don't stress, if you have an original email, you should be fine!!! I know this is easy for me to say but there is no reason not to think you will get it......keep praying!!!!! Leaving for New Orleans in the morning.......

I refuse to start stressing about the third year until at least October! :D

Me too!!! It's because our hopes get so high and you just get stressed to the max! I think 3rd year should be no problem as long as you do the six month check in things.

From everything that I have read about the 3rd year, it looks like the 25% is based off of whatever the orginal amount of the loans were when you started the program. So it shouldnt matter how you pay them off as long as you can spend all the money they give you to pay on your loans that third year. If not you will have to give back whatever money you do not spend.

I couldn't really tell if it is 25% of original amount or what was left? I hope original but something was swaying me to think it was what is left????

Keep praying!!! I think everything is good since you got original email.....I literally thought I was gonna go crazy one day....like they were gonna lock me out of the portal for checking so many times. I would read everything over and over, just in case I was missing something.
