Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

I got email today- faculty, tier 1, debt 85% feeling cautiously optimistic

Congrats!!!! I hope you will receive it. I'm faculty tier 2, 215%. I'm glad to hear they haven't finished with faculty. Hopefully, they will get to tier 2.

I got the email! I got the email! I got the email! :yelclap:. Faculty, Tier 2, 215%. I know it's not guaranteed, but I'm going to celebrate the moment! In a few days I'll go back to obsessing over when the signature will appear on my contract, and if and when the letter will come, etc, etc, etc. Just one question, I filled in my intent to accept, and banking info, and signature electronically. I didn't have to fax anything. But I was so excited I could barely read the directions, so I hope I wasn't supposed to fax in anything. Did everybody else do theirs electronically?

I hope there will be more emails going out to everyone today.

Thank goodness!!!! More people are hearing, congratulations to all!!!!! If they are still working on faculty then this means they haven't started on RN's yet????? Just a thought??? Please let more emails come:bowingpur

Just a question? For those that have received emails, when you view your submitted application, under the documents? Do you have an award letter and an award worksheet listed?

Yes, I have award letter, award worksheet, and award contract. But I can't see the contents of any of those documents, except the contract. A couple of hours ago, when I first got the email, I looked, and the only thing I noticed at that time was the contract. But maybe I just didn't catch the other 2 items. Did you have them all along, or ae they new. I was going to wait a couple of days before looking at my application again, or even thinking about it but I'm already back to being obsessd about it. I should just be basking in the joy of receiving the email, It's crazy!!!

I got my e-mail on 7/26. I did not have the award letter at first. But a couple of days later it and the worksheet showed up in my document list. I know its still up in the air, but I am praying that it means that we will get the final word very soon. I have stressed over my deferments and forebearances ending and I dread having to write a check to the student loan folks for $1100 every month. No fingers crossed. But hands together in prayer for everyone.
