Has anyone started to apply for the Nurse Corps loan repayment program? I wanted to see if anyone is having trouble using the application at all?

I haven't heard a thing :(

Was that a NP?

Nothing yet, and I'm still under review when I login.

breaking my heart…. no word yet - still "under review" - hoping that this means my app wasn't trashed for any "errors"

What do you mean by finalist? I thought they didn't give any definitive answers until Sept? Just asking...

I haven't heard anything yet

I just seen somebody post that they got an email regarding NHSC, but not Nurse Corps. I also work with an NP who applied for NHSC this year so I'll ask her. (She's on vacation in the DR). But she used Nurse Corp loan repayment for undergrad loans so she wasn't allowed to apply for it again.

Does anyone know if they can tell you whether or not your application was error-free if you call the 800 number? This is the first year I have applied, and I've been a little paranoid that I might have missed something.

Your status wouldn't say "under review" now in June if you had errors in your application from back in February. From everything I've read and been told, only NPs and some Faculty begin hearing in June. Some staff nurses have heard as early as July in previous years, but I think your best bet is to hit the patience button for another couple months and pay closer attention in August.

Hi,

She's an NP (me too). I still haven't heard anything. Her's now says "Award accepted." But her's was NHSC - I forgot there was a difference in that and Nurse Corps so maybe there's still hope!

Got 3rd year!!! Good luck to those still waiting!

Cool! Congrats:-)

FYI ..

when it applied 2. Years ago I was under review until August. Then went to award finalist.. Then found out around end of August first was awarded . If u get finalist, u should feel really good.. Don't stress about still being under review...
