  1. no go for me too - guess they didn't extend it till Oct 31st…… never trusting the bcrs peeps again
  2. same……. another month of agony
  3. I haven't heard anything - thinking it's pretty much a no go if I haven't heard anything yet - but who knows, suppose I could still be surprised : )
  4. well guys - still "under review" here….fingers and toes crossed. hopefully Thursday will have some good news for me if your hypothesis is correct…..
  5. congratulations! still waiting here…… keeping fingers and toes crossed
  6. are you an NP? and what kind of facility were you?
  7. breaking my heart…. no word yet - still "under review" - hoping that this means my app wasn't trashed for any "errors"
  8. have not heard anything - honestly considering joining the navy reserves if this doesn't pan out - gotta get this debt paid off
  9. I'm pretty sure NP's heard before RN's - I check my application every day and it still says under review : /
  10. they were nice and answered my question, but thats about it
  11. so I called and fortunately/unfortunately, everyone gets a credit check. So I guess it's good if you have one - meaning you didn't mess up your application and it didn't go in the "trash" bin, but it doesn't "mean anything" in terms of who is more likely to get the award.
  12. what tier are you in?
  13. So I applied this year - and am still unclear after speaking with the hrsa help people - if the HPSA score plays ANY role past placing you in tier one. After reading that someone in the same tier will be awarded based on debt to salary ratio and not to the person with a higher HPSA score, but what if it comes down to people with the same debt to salary ratios - do they then look at HPSA scores within the same tier? I am at a DSH, debt to salary ratio of 147%, and my facilities HPSA score is 20. Not thinking I have a great chance. I called the HRSA people after the application deadline to see if they had an estimate of how many total applications they received - and while they didn't know in total - they apparantly got 12,000 applications on the final day alone. HIghly improbable that they are all filled out properly - but yeah going to be a miracle to get it.
