Has anyone started to apply for the Nurse Corps loan repayment program? I wanted to see if anyone is having trouble using the application at all?

Thanks for the credit karma info! That app is awesome! I am a NP with a HPSA site score of 18 and debt/income ratio of 180%. I saw on credit karma that the "Dept of Heal" checked my credit on March 18th. I'll be praying for my allnurses friends!

Hey everyone. I sure appreciate what an awesome resource these posts have been. Have a few questions that I was hoping you all could help me with. Does anyone know of any crnas that qualified last year? If so is the tier for them determined by the primary care number (if it's 14+, tier 1)? If a crna works in a dentist's office is it determined by the dental number? I'm very curious what the lowest debt to salary ratio for various years you have all heard of is. Does the ratio cutoff differ from RN to NP etc? Also does anyone have a copy of the PAW (payment authorization worksheet) handy? I have not been able to find that sucker anywhere lol. Thank you everyone in advance! I really appreciate all of your time and knowledge.

I don't know the answers to your questions, but I know you can call their 800 number and talk to someone who might.

Anyone else heard anything?? Looks like notifications started rolling in for NPs roughly this time last year and RNs in June.

have not heard anything - honestly considering joining the navy reserves if this doesn't pan out - gotta get this debt paid off

Just checking in! Still haven't heard anything

I haven't heard anything either, but I keep checking every few days just in case. Hopefully someone will hear something soon!

I check weekly, and still nothing.

Hope it's a good sign, we are all still waiting......

So I broke down and called HRSA today just to see if I could get any new information out of them. Of course they say that we will all know by the end of September one way or the other, and that people are notified randomly of acceptance. When I had read over the Hospital score section, it had stated that if a facility has more than one score that they use the highest score. In my case that would be a 16...unfortunately, she said that they look at your primary field of care which puts me at a 9. So heartbroken because I know what that means. Even though I'm still under review, if they take my 9 instead of my 16, I'm out of the running. Good luck to all!!!

I've heard that a lot of people missed their emails from HRSA for various reasons last year, so I've tried to be diligent about checking the application portal so far. The waiting is so frustrating!

has anyone heard? I know of one person who got an email that they were a finalist, and her facility score was lower than mine! I'm trying not to be too bummed yet...
