Needing a Tubex!

Published

Hi!!

Does anyone know where I can get the blue plastic tubex's?? I would like to get a few if I can find them. I have tried looking just about everywhere. We have one in our entire hospital (small hospital!!) and it was thrown in the sharps container today.

Thanks!!

I recently lost a blue tubex injector, personally I think someone took it but either way I lost it. I am looking for one to purchase. I have searched to web with no results. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Who still uses these?!!! Ask the pharmacy at your facility to get them from their supplier.

I didn't think these type of ampules were still being made.

BTW - where are you?

Weird. Just ask the pharmacy to send a new one. They are not hard to come by.

I put "blue tubex injector" in the search bar....discontinued...

but maybe there are other links that have some old stock. :)

I'm in Texas, and they don't make the injector any more which is why I can't find it. Our hospital offers the carpujects and the old one I had was easier to use. From all my searching it appears that sometimes people have some spares they will be willing to sell or you can sometimes catch them on ebay, but I've been checking ebay and haven't seen one yet. Thanks for your efforts though. :(

I work in Texas and the still have them at the major hospital I work in, and get new ones all the time. I would double check that.

Merged threads. Wyeth discontinued manufacturing. Ebay is your best bet--above link shows item not sold --contact seller to see if available.
