Need some wisdom here

Hiya, i just finished my asociates in nursing but im not sure if nursing is for me.I got into nursing well because i didnt know what i wanted to study, and in a way that hasnt changed.there are some fields that i am interested that is related to nursing like psych,hospice.but im not sure if nursing is for me,i get very nervous when i was interviewing my patients in my practice and when i took a course in flebotomy,my hands were shaking:confused:,maybe i just need practice, im planing on going to get my bachelors in september,the school im going to is supposed to be very good,maybe than can help me?! i dont know is this normal, has others felt this way , if so can you give some advise

I wouldn't invest any more money in another academic degree until you figure out whether nursing is for you or not. Give nursing a try and see how it goes. If you find it works for you, great. If it doesn't work for you, at least you won't have wasted more money.

I say give it a shot in the clinical field first. I was shy at first but by the end of the first week in school, that was gone. You HAVE to be social to advocate for your patients and talk to them. It's your job. Nursing in general (and nsg school) has made me pretty darn not shy.
