Anyone?!?

I'm guessing no one is responding because no one has any good ideas to share with you. Someone with no US experience (or at least none that you mentioned in your OP) and a 10-year gap since doing any nursing at all is going to have a hard time being competitive for nursing jobs in an employment climate where even experienced nurses with current experience are having trouble finding employment, and people have trouble getting back into nursing after a gap of only a few years. I'm not trying to be mean or critical; that's just the reality of the situation. Have you considered doing an "RN refresher course"? That is something that might help with a resume' and job-hunting. Best wishes!

Thanks for your help. Yea I know it is going to be hard but it is what it is. I did not mention it before but I just passed the NCLEX-RN few weeks ago. I mean I was an RN in Europe and that's where I had my last job as a nurse. I was not thinking of working as a nurse in the US but then few months ago I changed my mind and took the NCLEX and now I have a NYS RN license. You think that taking a refresher will help me with my job hunt? Does passing the NCLEX recently also mean that Im on the money for recruiters?! I guess I'll have to try my luck. Maybe trying to get a job in small Dr. Office, nursing home or visiting nurse until I get some US experience and then try to get into a major hospital or so. Any kind of help is appreciated...
