I literally just finished taking the NCLEX-RN a few hours ago and I'm freaking out that I failed. For starters, I got 265 questions which typically isn't a good thing. Secondly, I had A LOT of psych questions and not psych med questions. My understanding is that you aren't doing well on that content so the test keeps questioning you. I'm just confused because I didn't think that the psych questions were that difficult (or maybe I'm just completely wrong!). I also got quite a few SATA questions, 3 or 4 calculations, and quite a few medications that I've never even heard of, which really freaks me out! Anyway I'm pretty convinced that I failed. If anyone who had 265 questions or knew someone that did and passed, I would really appreciate hearing your experience. I know everyones experience is different but I just need some peace at mind.
Thanks!

We have had several members pass with max number of questions. I passed and failed with max number (can't remember exact number I passed with but know I was near max of 265)
Good luck

Two of my friends passed with 265, two of my school mates also failed with 265.
i feel the number of questions you answered doesn't count, try the pearson vue trick.
Good luck.

I had around 120 questions, tons of infection contol and prioritization, some math, a few SATA, and then just a general mix of questions. It was very, very hard and I guessed at a lot of them. I guess I guessed correctly because I passed it.

with that many questions it's luckily that you passed. just don't worry about it i know when i took my exam i was nervous i knew i failed for 3 days i couldn't sleep and all the questions keep popping in my head. just don't worry 2 of my friends had that many questions and they passed some people get randomly choose to take that many questions i think they do it to see how long it takes to finish the questions. good luck and let us know when you pass.
