There's an abundance of nurses, especially new grads!!! It's unfortunate that Hospitals, Dialysis, Home Care and other specialties do not hire us. It's a very sad economy and many health care industries are missing out on VERY competent and qualified nurses!!!! I'm very dissappointed in how the health care industry has treated new grads!!!

I don't see how individual nurses' "feelings" about whether (and why) there's a nursing shortage would have any place in a research paper. There is plenty of hard data out there that would be more appropriate.
Best wishes for your paper, though --

What is the nursing shortage and why does it exist?
The nursing shortage has been defined as "global", so while there may seem to be a surplus in your part of the world, there are not enough to go around to provide effective care in all parts of the world.
Of course, I do not exclude the possibility that certain organizations may use the "shortage" excuse for dropping standards.
I hope you can open the site I pasted, it gives a fairly good overview.
Wow....very...informed health care workers!!! Weird posts!!!!

back on track, what has the OP come up with so far? You won't get very many positive responses if you haven't done any work yet...folks don't like doing one's homework for them
