Hi, I am doing a nursing ethical dilemma essay recently and I couldn't find any good articles about it. Does anyone have any good nursing ethical dilemma articles to share. Thank you

Most schools have an honor code that says having other people do your school work is cheating so I guess you could discuss whether that is an ethical issue or just an issue of abiding by the rules. In addition, you could explore whether it actually is cheating or simply poor follow-through and is there a difference and what would that be? Then you could discuss how that kind of thing would play out in the practice of nursing.

So then you could expand on that and discuss whether following the rules of an learning institution or profession is a moral imperative or simply a professional one and what criteria differentiate the two. And then discuss how does applies to nursing.

don;t forget to check out your school of nursings library-- many have online access to nursing magazine articles if they do not have magazines on site. if you have a librarian, get them to teach your about available resources.... could be your new best friend!

Thanks systoly!! I need to find an ethical dilemma that can use a book, articles, a movie or a real patient scenario. The ethical dilemma must be health care related, and must have to have a patient, a nurse and an ethical dilemma. That's all the information I need to have for my 5-6 pages long essay.

Like systoly said, one of the things that we ask of students is to tell us about what you've done so far. Where did you look for your articles and come up empty-handed?

Ethical questions (though maybe not serious dilemmas) come up every day in a nursing position. Really, this assignment should really be "an A on a plate."
