Job 1 -oral surgeon -pay is 35/hr
-3 mornings a week (may go to 4 then 5 mornings) from 8 am - 12 noon
-so $140 a day times 3 days= $420 a week
Job 2 -LTC nights-I make $330 for an 8 hour shift
I would like both but would you rather go 3 mornings or just one 8 hr night for a similar amt of money?
Job 1 would involve having husband drop kids off at school before he goes to work. Both jobs I could pick the kids up.

Hmm, both sound good.... the LTC job......more money and it is at night but the oral surgeon job sounds good too, it is something different. I would choose the oral surgeon! Probably will be less stress than the LTC!!
It just seems that going out 3 days a week is so much more rigamorol (I butchered that spelling).
Well, what will your role be in both jobs? That may help you make a decision.....I would pick the least stressful because both sound like good money.
I was skimming through your past posts and it seems like you have been trying to decide which job to take for over 6 months!! These jobs sound good, I'm gonna come take one and you can have the other!!!

job 2 sounds better to me... you can let your husband drop the kids... they will understand it... :)

I'd do the LTC. One night a week, only making $90 less than the Oral surgeons. One thing to take into consideration..GAS MONEY. How much money will it cost to commute 3x's wk as opposed to that one time for LTC. (or is it more than one night a week?)
Also, winter is coming. Not sure where you're from but I'd rather have to try and commute once a week than 3.

I've done the four hour shifts in a"nice" clinic, 8-12 m-f sounds great, benefits, etc.Sometimes was so bored, would have no pts and sit and read, I HATED IT, only job I quit-- lasted 2 months, it's just as much BS w/kids as if you were full time, morning rush, etc. Go for nights, no question good luck!!!
