I am a RN:nurse: from the Philippines. I am planning to take NCLEX exam for Nevada.
As one of the requirement for international graduates like me, is applying for CGFNS-CES.
I have questions on what to write on the CGFNS-CES application form.
1. PART 2:(Preliminary Information) - This is a question about previous employment. I have never worked here in the Philippines. Can I just answer it as N/A (Not Applicable)?
2. PART 12 (Institutions Attended) - On the table below, there are 4 categories under Non-healthcare Schools
Attended. Here in the Philippines, PRIMARY is synonymous to Grade school (grade 1 t0 6), Secondary is High school (1st yr to 4th yr).
My questions are:
1. What will I write in the INTERMEDIATE LEVEL?
2. What will I write under the column of Name of Diploma or Certification in its Original Language?
3. On the last column, degrees obtained, which should I check? Is it correct that I will put a check mark only on the time when I got my RN degree and I will leave others unchecked?
PLEASE DO HELP ME.
I really need this to be filed ASAP.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
hi I am glad because my order status in cgfns is Order Status: REPORT ISSUED but what that"s mean?I think is it the last step of CES report but I don"t sureplease explain me this status!
thanks
many kisses
If you haven't already done so I would say submit your application to the state. Your CES report is ready and has been issued so now wait for eligibility

hi yehs14 i got the same problem my correspondence in CES for vermont states that my transcript HAS BEEN RECEIVED BUT NOT ACCEPTED what did u do regarding ur application im from philippines and i really don't know what to do. when i called CGFNS they told me to wait for postal mail they send me or the school, and i have been waiting for like forever. i also got an email saying that i need to pass TRANSCRIPT VALIDATION FORM? whats that did u receive the same thing? pls help tnx!
hi jessica,
hello. sorry for the late reply.
did you finish your 4 year college on just 1 school? if yes, then wait for cgfns letter first. if not, you have to send them the tor from all the nursing schools you had your eduction, especially the school you graduted from.
you might want to wait for the cgfns notification letter first before you do anything else. you have to be sure in what area on your tor did you or your school commit an error. it will all be stated on the cgfns letter. they will also send a letter to your school but you have to wait because they will send it thru snail mail... grr.. sobrang tagal bago ko natanggap!
yehs14. tnx for the reply! i graduated in just onescul. yap i think i need to wait for their letter first but one more thing i called the customer servce of CGFNS last week and the agent (not so accomodating as i thought) told me that i have no grade in MICROBIO, SOCIAL SCIENCE and HUMANITIES. i dunno if its true coz CGFNS didn't send me email regarding this and I already graduated so i think i passed all the requirements to be an RN right. geez. sorry so many questions i just really dunno what to do next. well i'm thinking of enrolling these subjs but how sure am i that i really need to enrol? haist. what can u advise to me? just wait for the letter then?
You have to wait for the official letter from CGFNS. They will send it thru postal mail, not email.
They will also send your school a copy of that letter. You might want to personally go to your school and ask them if they received a copy.
Maybe your school wasn't able to indicate all the grades on the TOR they sent to CGFNS.
The only thing I can advice you is to wait for the official letter.
Go to your school, make sure that you have grades in those subjects.
