Need advise

Nursing Students NCLEX

today i attempted the NCLEX RN for 3rd time. On the previous occasions i answered from185to 205 and failed. I believe that it may be around that again and i feel domed again. I tried to focus on my weak areas but thy hardly came up. I used the Saunders full color review and did really well with the format the Suzanne posted. i also took over 6 mths as a foreign trained nurse to develope the confidence i need and i felt good about it. I sat in front of the computer and could not believe it. my weakest area was pharmacology and it hammered me, some i never saw or studied, lots of priority questions and i left i tears like i was beated and thrown out in the cold. does it mean that if i did more than 100 questions i failed again? because this is hoe i feel. What made it worse was when i got home my 10 yr old drew a preety picture of me in nursing uniform and i broke down again because i feel like i failed miserably a third time. Any thoughts?

You can try a license look up in myflorida.com web site. Have you tried the pearson vue website to get your quick results lately? They might have them by now or call for the quick results its worth the $7.95 that you have to pay, because you will now if you pass or not.

thank you for the advise but i failed for a third time. The results basically said i did 202 questions and am nera passing standard, with 2 below; well i tried but it is over for me for now. thank you all for your support and believing in me. This was the first time i took my time and felt confident. God is not ready yet.

I am so sorry that you didn't make it this time. I just want to tell you to keep the faith. Don't give up.

Take some time and regroup, then jump right back to studying. I failed the Nclex-RN twice, and even though I was upset and depressed at times, I took a week to regroup and develop a study plan and I began to study again.

This is just an obstacle that you WILL get over. Don't give up and keep pushing and fighting for your dream to be a NURSE..

dont ever give up! try and try until you hit the spot! give yourself a lil break, take a deep breath then start again. we can do this...u are not alone on this ordeal.

thank you all for your support but for now it is mandatory for me to do a refresher course and i can't right now do to circumstances. I have to wait for now until my situation clears. thank you all so much for your kind words. What i find strange is that out of the 3 times i always seem to be NEAR PASSING STANDARD. any way i am still happy for all those who have made it and will continue the fight later on.:o

appreciate you for your support; i am looking into ways i can do my refresher or try in another state. If only you knew what i have been through, you would understand this whole thing. unfortunately i can't disclose information for my safety. that's what makes things difficult. thank you but i only problem is is Florida if you fail 3 times you must do a refresher course. My problem is i can't at this time so if i fail, i can,t do it for a long time. so that is part of the reason why i feel so defeated. thank you any way for your enouraging words and good luc to you.

Don't give up. Jeremiah tried 7 times and only then did he was answered by his prayers. Point is, we can't let this test bring us down. Just imagine how many people we can serve in the future, and how many we will fail if we give up now. take some time, condition yourself, and face the situation head on. You can do it. We can do it.
