I registered for A and P 1. Due to my lack of credit hours I was lucky to be able to get into it at all. I should have known something was different when the section I registered for only had 1 class meeting a week from 1pm to 4 pm. I look today and notice that it is a hybrid class meaning that it is mostly taught online with 1 class meeting a week. I was told by my advisor that all the online classes were full prior to my registration. Naturally i didn't think I would be able to register for anything taught mostly online. Here is my question. To those of you out there that have taken A and P online, can you really effectively learn the material that way? I am assuming that the class meeting will be the lab portion. I am not giving up hope because I know some people will probably drop from the other sections that aren't online. I know it will be more convenient from an eceonimc standpoint(gas prices and not having to travel to school every other day)but I am 35 years old and have never taklen a class online. Please help!! Any advice from anyone would very much be appreciated.

I took physiology online... hated it, but it is do-able. Just stay on top of your reading.

I took both A&P 1 & 2 completely online, not even a hybrid class. It worked out very well for me, but I am also an extremely self-motivated learner. I would say that if you have the discipline to read and do the asignments, and a long as someone is accessible for you to ask questions, you'll do fine.

I'm very motivated too, and I'm having a terrible time with ANP 102 online this summer semester. Maybe if it was a full length semester it'd be better. My advice would be to keep your eye on the in class sections and see if you can get into one of them, especially if you aren't familiar with online classes really.

I am taking A&P online right now. It's kicking my butt but I think that's because it's a summer class and goes so quickly. Plus I'm also taking Statistics online. The class average is 77 after the first test, I have an 84. But I figure this is preparing me for my online RN classes that are in the this same format.
