Need some advice

Published

Hi everyone!

So I am scheduled to take my NCLEX next week and have been frequently visiting this site to help with the anxiety. I'm currently doing Kaplan and have been looking at the scores of those who passed. I'm noticing that my scores are much lower - I'm stuck in the 56% to 64% range. My current Qbank average is 59% (I have only completed about 300 questions) and my Qtrainers 4,5,6 have been 57%, 58%, and 60%. I'm writing all the rationales down in a word document as well.

I guess my ultimate questions is should I move my test date back while I can? and does anyone have any ideas on how to increase my scores? I'm feeling pretty lost right now.

Thanks in advance!

I took Kaplan too. When I saw that my q trainer scores were slipping a little I went back to the q bank to practice. Questions, questions, and more questions is what you need to do to pass.

Thank you for the advice! I'm planning on finishing the entire Qbank and QTrainer 7 before I take my exam!

My Qbank scores were similar to yours when I first started studying. I studied for 4 weeks and completed 1000 Qbank questions. Towards the end my scores went up because I was reading all of the rationales. So after awhile many questions seem similar and repetitive. My QT5 score was 58%, QT6 was 60% and QT7 was 61%. QT7 is like taking the NCLEX on nightmare difficulty mode. It is all passing level questions which in my opinion were harder than the real test. If you can score 60 or above on it you are ready.

Thank you so much! Knowing that other people were scoring similar and passed is starting to help with some of the stress!

Took my NCLEX RN today. Stopped at 75, got 39 SATA, one drag and drop and two "exhibit" questions. Not feeling all that confident at all. Let the long 48hrs begin! Thanks to those who offered info!
