Hi all,
I'm a Cali native stuck in the Midwest for the past six years. I recently finished nursing school here and got my first job in an ICU.
Now, my family and I have our eye on moving back to San Diego but one question we have is how easy it might be for me to get a job there. Depending on when we move I will have 1-2 years of ICU experience under my belt- will I have problems finding a job? Do I need more than that? How is the job market?
thanks in advance for any advice.

Go online and check the jobs of hospitals in that area. I'm not in Cali, but all of the comments I read on here suggest a very tight market. BSN, which I assume you have, experience , which you have, plus helps to have contacts. Good luck and let us know how that goes

Try to go back as a traveler. It gets your foot in the door.
