Hi guys. So here's the thing...I've gone through processing my NMC and I've sent all the documents that was asked for and now I'm just waiting for my decision letter. But my worry is this, I only got 2168 hours of clinical practice, a few hours short from the required minimum of 2300 hours. What are the chances that I would qualify for the ONP, and what are the chances that I would be rejected? The agency I'm working with told me to just submit the requirements, but I still can't help but be worried because I don't know anyone that I can ask who actually had the same dilemma but was still able to get qualified for the program. Please help.
Hi... This thread caught my interest because I, too, am an applicant of Continental Travelnurse under IPAMS. Was recruited in Feb 2014 and began my NMC process two months later, when my Pack 1 arrived in April. Sent it back in May but they required an additional document, before they mailed my Pack 2. Because of the holidays, it took a month to arrive in my mailbox from the date that was written on the cover letter. Thankfully, there were a lot of good samaritans who helped me complete the requirements and was able to mail it back 5 days later. I always use DHL and my packages arrive the next day. I haven't checked the status of my documents with the NMC yet, but I'm hoping to get some news by the end of the week. In God's will, I hope to receive my DL soon.
******* of IPAMS, my CTN recruiter, and ***** are all very supportive and quick to respond to my emails. My only question is about how it takes to fulfill the requirements of the visa? I am not in the Philippines, but I have decided to go back home when required to get things done.
Please shed some light. Big thanks, God bless, and good luck on your deployment next week!!
Hi to everyone especially to those who went to IPAMS as their agency. I am applying in the said agency however they asked me if i worked in a secondary or tertiary hosp. bec. they more preferred to their applicant. and still they will accept my application (i worked in a primary hosp. less than 100 bed capacity). is there a chance someone got deployed even their experience is from primary hospital. Please give me some HOPE.. :)

Well, Its kinda confusing because they havent sent me any job offer but they asked me already to take the CBT exam. Also, I have an offer with Colchester University Hospital with Medacs International. This one have a clearer instructions with my application. So I wonder if they hired me already or what with CTN. Will I be an agency nurse or a permanent nurse in a hospital.
No. They didn't ask me to sign anything apart from the skills checklist. However, the recruiter is asking me to take the CBT. I submitted my credentials they need to Ipams already. They also asked me to obtain foreign police clearance and MoH certificate here in Saudi. They were telling me that basically they will be my employer.

Hi Guys,
For those who are part of the September batch for UK under CTN (for Addenbrooke's), if it is not too much, can you share your contact or at least your FB details just so we can chat and help each other in preparation for our deployment?
Here's my email address: [email protected].
Thanks very much.
Good luck to all of us and see you guys soon.
