Hi guys. So here's the thing...I've gone through processing my NMC and I've sent all the documents that was asked for and now I'm just waiting for my decision letter. But my worry is this, I only got 2168 hours of clinical practice, a few hours short from the required minimum of 2300 hours. What are the chances that I would qualify for the ONP, and what are the chances that I would be rejected? The agency I'm working with told me to just submit the requirements, but I still can't help but be worried because I don't know anyone that I can ask who actually had the same dilemma but was still able to get qualified for the program. Please help.
Hi che_rn! Sadly, my nmc got a problem too..i called a while ago and they told me that my referee written in os form1 cannot be found at our hospital's website. They said that her name didn't appear at the website and they sent me another os form 1 to accomplish last may 9 but until now i haven't receive it yet. Luckily, i was able to find the name of my referee in our hospitals publication that can also be seen at our website. I asked them if they could reconsider the links that i sent them as the basis for my referee..*fingers-crossed* that they would still accept it so that i don't have to accomplist it anymore..

Whooaaa! Well that's not right. I hope they accept it too, it'll be such a waste to bring documents back and forth when the problem can easily be resolved.
Ill try to call again next monday about the update. The NMC agent ive spoken with was kind enough to refer my problem to an international assessment officer of the nmc..i really hope they will accept the links..thenmc should have called the institution whereiwork if my referee really do exists instead of just finding her name in the institution's website..

Correct. Your problem is making me worry, actually. My institution doesn't even have a working website!
yes.. it is so frustrating that they only checked the hospital's website for my referee's name..good thing i found 2 links that has her name in it and it is still at our hospital's website. they didn't even call our HRD to verify the name of my referee..also, it has come to my attention that my colleague (who is already in the UK) and i had the same referee but hers didn't have any problem just like mine and besides she processed her nmc ahead of me so they must have noted that we used the same person twice already. =(

Yes. My agent from ctn asked me to choose between two hospitals. It's between east surrey hospital and addenbrooke's hospital. I chose the latter. I hope we will be on the same hospital as well. :)
