What have you been doing to prepare for the exam? I suggest that you go to the NCLEX Discussion Forum and check out the First Stip that I have posted............
If you took the exam for NY, you need to wait 90 days to retest. In the hospital setting, you are goin gto have issues unless you you have certification as a CNA. Your best bet would probably to contact some of the Dialysis companies and see if you can get on there as a tech.
Once you take and pass the NCLEX, then it will be much easier to ge hired.

Hi Ms. Suzanne,
I'll be sending my application for NCLEX. Is it okay if I just used my sister's US address instead of my Philippine address?(that way she can expedite the mails) Upon taking the exam at an international site, do i have to provide an ID with the same ADDRESS as written on my application or not really necessary as long as it matches the names on the ATT? Thanks.
Use the same address that you used for the license application, or you can run into many issues. Or make sure that you also notify the state of the address change before taking the exam, espeically with NY. They will and can hold up your license if everything does not match.
If you already have approval from a state, the ATT is provided by e-mail.
Results are posted on the website of the BON.
Jus tmake sure that in the end, or before the end, the address that you give to Pearson-Vue is the same as what the state has for you.
