2nd time around

Hi Everyone,

I am retaking my 1st quarter classes. Nurs 101 and Nurs 111. I am auditing Nurs 101 because I got a B and passed but have to retake Nurs 111. I feel so incompetent at this moment that I would have to do the basics over. However, I got sick during the quarter and had to drop class. Is there anyone else out there in my shoes. Not feeling real bright right now and having a major setback. I did take a couple of online classes at the state University, toward my BSN so that did help me feel somewhat better. Any advice on how to handle this 2nd time around on my RN classes? I am auditing Nurs 101, so no test or assignments just sit through it and take notes... how can I be productive in this class? Just want to talk ...

I haven't been in your situation, but if I were you, I would take this time to master skills and get better at clinicals. I would still pay attention on the class you are auditing because you'll pick up more information the second time you listen to the lectures.

Thank you for good advice. I think I will pay close attention this 2nd time around.

Hi Everyone, Well almost done with my class! I am so excited. It was a great quarter! When one of the worst things happen it can be overcome. Repeating a class is not the end of the world.
