I graduated from BSN program in Dec 2006 in Tennessee. However at the time due to personal reasons I could not take NCLEX exam. I am now interested in taking the exam and getting my license.
Can you please guide me on what steps I need to take? I understand it is very late but I now feel my duty to contribute towards healthcare but now handicapped due to NCLEX exam. Though I graduated from Tennessee, I am open to taking exam from some other state as well (if that is a possibility).
I would really appreciate it. Thankyou for your time and stay safe.

Go to the website of the state Board of any state you are interested in obtaining a license from and follow the instructions for applying for a license. I would start with the TN Board.

You didn't say where you live now but if that state is somewhere other than TN - call that BON too. Good Luck. You will probably need a refresher of some sort.

Hi BSN123, we are in the same boat. I graduated 15 years ago too and never did any nursing job. I am looking for a lecture/review/refresher...not how to attack a question type review.

Hello,
I graduated 6 years ago and am also looking for a refresher course, even an online one at this point. Ideally in person in Ohio/Northern Kentucky

I just graduated nursing school and I'm currently doing a Kaplan review course. I would also recommend the Saunders NCLEX review book. I'm sure you will want to review some content. Good Luck!
Thank you , I do have that review book. Do you know if there are tutors on this site ?
thx again , good luck
