hi im a nurse presently working in uk i just want to find out which state would accept NCLEX application without CGFNS other than california.

Plenty do. Florida is another one & New York. I think you can see on the CGFNS web site itself but if you have particular State in mind go direct to their Board of Nursing web site to find out for sure.
florida requires cgfns, coz that is my target state any idea about this?

Here's an info that might be useful:
Majority of states require foreign nurses to pass CGFNS before taking the NCLEX-RN. The following are the states with such requirement:
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
and the following states do not require CGFNS:
New York, California, Georgia, Hawaii,Florida and Chicago
