Nclex vent

Well, I took the NCLEX today. The computer shut off at 75 questions. I am almost certain that I failed. I seemed to get several infection control questions (they can tell I don't know this!), and I only got several priority questions. In looking back, I missed a ton of easy questions. My take on the whole thing: it's really not that hard, you just have to know your stuff.

In case you're wondering, I studied using "Suzanne's plan".

You used Suzanne's plan and still didnt' know your stuff? You prolly passed. I can't imagine someone failing after 75 questions if they used her plan properly.

Highly doubt it... I didn't get many of those priority questions :( For those of you who did pass recently, how many priority questions did you get (an estimate)?

If you end up failing I'd highly recommend the Kaplan course and online Q bank.

I'm sure it might help but the online Q bank is really what helped me the most.

www.kaplannursing.com is the website. You have to pay to enroll. It's expensive but worth it.

Yeah it's costly but for me it was worth it. I wanted to make sure I passed and $300 is a small price to pay when you figure that if you fail again it will be another $200 to register again and then all the salary you'll be missing out on by not being an RN.

I feel exactly the same way. I had a lof of infection control questions, which i should have known but freaked out and read too much into the question and got it wrong. I'm really freaking out now cuz my test stop at 85 questions, and i figure if i got the easy questions wrong, i probably ended up failing. I live in CA, so i have 3-4 agonizing weeks left till i find out. =(
