Hello everyone, I have been a lurker here for some times and I just took the NCLEX-RN today for the first time. During the test I had about 8 select all that apply, 3 drop and drag, and 2 med questions. I've have previously heard that med calculation questions are the easier questions. Basically, my question is does anyone know anyone who passed the NCLEX the first time after getting two med calculations? Any help is great and good luck to all people who have passed and will take the test in the future.

since you never get the actual results from any nclex test, its a hit or miss on how you do throughout the entire test, not just on med calcs. you can get those calcs wrong and still pass; you can get them right and not pass. :)

My friend just took it this Monday and found out she passed on wed. She had 10 med calcs, and about 50% SATA. She stopped at 90 questions. Good luck and let us know!

I had a classmate that had 1 dose cal and another that had 2, both passed NCLEXRN.
thank you everybody, i should hopefully know my results within the next two hours. i actually wanted some med calculations because i never really had a problem with them. the exam shut off somewhere in between 86 and 100. i tried the pearson vue trick and i got the pop up, it's the only thing that has kept me sane the past two days.

I just finished kaplan course a week ago. I was told not to do any Qbank questions before completing Question trainer 1,2, 3 and 4 .I am confused. Should I do as I was told by the kaplan instructors or should I start doing Qbank questions. Waiting for response. And yeah congrats to those who made it.(new member!)

thats wierd.. i would do the qbank if i were you. i am going to start my kaplan course on july 12th, and i wanted to pay for it about a week in advance, so i can start the qbank on my own. and then learn what kaplan has to say.
the results should be up right now, i completed the exam over 48 hours ago, this is just torture!
Thank you everyone for your support, after much waiting I finally have my results......I PASSED! Now I'm an R.N.!!!!
