STOP IT!
The test is tomorrow, period. Get off the computer...NOW....and do something relaxing, something you enjoy:
Take a walk with the dog. Cuddle with the cat. Take a long hot shower or a bubble bath.
Put on your most favorite sleeping/lounging clothes, and be COMFORTABLE. Eat something you really like. Screw the diet tonight! Whatever makes you feel happy, THAT'S what you want right now.
Get a good night's rest. Sleep, I realize, is elusive the night before an exam like this. But rest, that's something you CAN do, regardless of when you actually nod off.
Read a book. Watch a favorite movie or TV show (Netflix!!). Eat the aforementioned goodie while the cat (or dog) stares at you jealously. Do not share.
Before bed, lay out everything you need for the morning; get clothes set out so you have NO decisions to make when you wake up. Even set out your favorite coffee mug (or travel mug) and put the filter in the pot. Seriously, get it all done so you have NO thinking to do tomorrow!
Allow yourself LOTS of time in the morning to get up without rushing. Do not rush. Did I mention to relax, and not rush?
Allow plenty of drive time. Sing to the radio or your CDs at the top of your lungs. Screech a little to blow off steam
And, after all that.....ROCK THE HELL out of that test!!
STOOOOOOOOOOOP psyching yourself out. BREATHE. GET SOME SLEEP.
I don't think ANYONE walks in to take the NCLEX going, "I'm 100% ready." Nope. You've studied hard, you survived nursing school, just take that test for what it is, and then celebrate!
I'm testing Wednesday, and tomorrow is unplug, no studying, spend time with my family at the beach day.
Good luck!! :)
Hadassah16, based on the specific set of questions I received; I'm not sure how big of a role Hurst played. It was definitely entertaining and easy to understand so it made studying less dreadful, but it felt to me like no amount or type of studying could have really prepared me for that test. I know that's not what you want to hear (sorry!) but that is honestly how I feel after taking it. If I could go back and study only one thing it would be LaCharity's PDA. Good luck!

I am taking my NCLEX tomorrow and I can't help but feel like I am not ready :/ Reading all of the posts, I really wish I would have done Kaplan! All I did was Hurst and all of the Q-Reviews they offer. I did approximately 500 questions from the Saunders online questions, and I did the 180 question practice test from the Kaplan Strategy book, that I just bought the other day, since it seems like most people swear by Kaplan.
I also see that people did thousands of practice questions, and I probably only did on the low side of a thousand :/ I also never had time to go over the LaCharity PDA book.
Am I doomed for failure? :/
