Nclex tomorrow june 19th

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Well tomorrow is the big day and the nerves are setting in!!!!!!

Test time is 2pm.

Anyone else on the boat for tomorrow???

I don't take it tomorrow, but I took the NCLEX yesterday. The waiting does drive you crazy, but I'm sure you got this!! You made it out of nursing school so you have the knowledge. Good luck!!

I am also taking it tomorrow at 2pm!!!! GOOD LUCK!

What HouTx said. I know it's easier said than done (having just taken mine yesterday, and well remembering how I felt on Sunday...I mean, I cried on the way to the hotel), but try not to let your nerves get to you. Remember to BREATH during your test :)

Zip,

OMG my test was at 430pm and about noon I was in bed and I just started bawling...like full blown crying. I called my mom (who has been an RN for 20 years) and she was like "CALM DOWN!!" lol. It's crazy.

That right there is the ONLY reason I scheduled mine for 8 am. I am NOT a morning person at all (working 7p-7a totally squashed any early bird that was in me) but I didn't want to have all morning to freak myself out. As it was, the day before I was on the phone talking to my cousin (who also just graduated from nursing school and is awaiting her NCLEX) and we hung up and I was full on crying...I had to pull over. I think that's why a few of the girls from my class are making their mothers or husbands drive them...so they don't kill anyone on the way there! lol

Yea I definitely wanted an AM test time, but only thing available was that time....GRR. I have a job that starts Monday so I was trying to get it done. It took FOREVER to even receive my ATT. I was the first one in my class to take it so people were freaking out asking me about it yesterday. Lol.

Hahahaha yea, two people took it last week, one passed and the other we haven't heard from and her license isn't up so I'm kinda worried, and then 3 of us took it yesterday and I know at least 2 people took it today. A lot are taking it next week. That's awesome about your job starting Monday! Mine doesn't start till the 22nd of July...not sure if I'm happy about that or not lol What kind of job are you starting??

Most of my friends jobs start late July as well. I'm going to work on a med surg/tele unit. You?

I got a job in the ED, but for the first three months we precept on a floor. I'm crossing my fingers I'll be on the med-surg floor I've worked on as a CNA for the last three years for that part, and it's likely I will be since they prefer us to do it on med-surg.

So jealous that you guys already have jobs lined up!! Seems like in my state they won't even look at you till you have a license number.
