NCLEX Tomorrow - but if I fail....

Published

If I fail, how long do I have to wait to retake the test in NH? I feel prepared, but am also SO nervous. I don't mind having to retake the test again if I fail, but I heard you need to wait 6 months - anyone know if this is true? Anyone have any last-minute test-taking tips!? Help!:uhoh21:

I failed my first time in July. In my state you have to wait 45 days to retest. I believe that most states have changed the wait time from 90 days to 45 days, but not 6 months. I would check with your state's BON.

Good luck on the first try.

i cANNOT understnad why i can give so much comfort for nclex victims but cannot give it to myself. i think i care too much but thats how i am .. well. if you always think that you will fail.. it will happen. if you havent taken your test and giving yourself that thought it will stay and haunt you until you get those results. i am about to take the test for the 5th time and i still canoot believe that i have not learned anything from one test to anthere but i am not giving up at all. i am still determined to take it .. even though i love to procrastinate. i can tell you that i was very resourceful when i was in school .. i can probably own staples and i just had so much notes.. i dont understand either.. i dont think oyu should tell yourslef that if you fail .. becuz it will haunt.. it hauneted..i just have to think about the positive way.. they made so much money and this is the final $200 that they will get from me.. i worked too hard to finish school. one more step up the ladder to go. ;):nono: ;)

Luv2, I just want to tell you that you are a good inspiration to many people here and that your experience is something that we can all relate to. It doesn't matter how many times we took the test but our perseverance and determination to get to our goal is all that matters. Keep going...you're doing the right thing and soon, this will all be in the past and will keep us better people :) Goodluck to you in your upcoming test. I will have you in my prayers :)

Good luck tomorrow- hope you are able to get some quality sleep tonight and the peace of mind that comes with knowing that everyone else gets nervous too, but the overwhelming majority of NCLEX test takers PASS!
