Nclex test taking ID question

Published

Hey there! I'm planing on taking the nclex at a pearson vue facility. My ID is valid but part of my address isn't. I have a PO box and I put that number down instead of my street address. The rest of the address is correct though. I talked to the lady there and she said it should be fine.. I don't know though if they are only looking to see if it's me. Don't want to be rejected. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I brought my passport which doesn't have an address so you should be fine

Thank you for replying. The website makes it clear about just your name and photo and signature and it being valid. I'm just gonna call pearson Monday. Just to be on the safe side.

The staff at the Pearson Vue testing center need an acceptable form of photo identification (e.g. drivers license, state ID, passport) to verify that you are who you claim you are. The address is not relevant.

Okay, thanks for replying!

I don't know. I'm in Florida and all through nursing school they warned us that you're DL and Pearson Vue information had to be the same. I would call to verify.

You should be fine. I am currently from PA now and i used my CA license when i took the exam last wed. and there were no problems.

It's the name & photo that must match. My mailing address is on my license. My street address was on my ATT. I was fine. If the names don't match exactly (save for a middle initial on license middle name on ATT was fine)

Okay thank you! :)

I talked to pearson vue and I talked to two people there, and they said that is fine. And that it needs to be valid, pic, signature, full name. Maybe this can help someone else out. I tend to worry about everything that can go wrong lol. :)
