Hi everyone I am going August 10th at 11:00 to take my test I have studied some of the web sites that were suggested on the site and I have a CD with nothing but test questions I have done most of the 998 questions! Any ohter advice for this very nervous test taker?:uhoh3:

i took the nclex yesterday. the computer shut off at 85 questions. i left with the feeling that i failed horribly and have been a mess ever since. i had a lot of drug questions that contained drugs i hadn't ever heard of, plus a lot of questions with the select all that apply option. they told me it would take 2 business days to find out your results- has anyone received theirs any sooner?

just wanted to let you know mine shut off at 85 questions, and it was available the next morning on my board of nursing website, it took 48 hrs to be available on the pearson vue website. i am sure you did fine. good luck :monkeydance:

where do you go to see it available on the board of nursing? is it to verify the license area? thanks.

yes, it was where you would locate for your work permit, verify licenses and permits, i typed in my info. and there was my lpn license number, it might be different for other states, im not sure.....hope it helps:nurse:

The results were finally in...a little after 48 hours...and I passed! I have to say I am still shocked that I passed...I was positive I failed miserably. I think it is awful that people are left with this feeling of impending doom plus have to wait what seems like forever to find out their fate. Thank you to everyone for your words and encouragement!! :balloons:

So much congrats to you!! It is a very exciting feeling and I totally agree with the anxiety the exam puts on us! Good luck in your field of nursing!

Hi everyone just wanted to say I PASSEDthe 2 days they make you wait for your results are pure torture. I want to say thanks to all of you, it's good to know that we are able to be here and support one another. Good luck to those of you who are still in school or waiting to take the nclex. I can't wait to start my new career and see what life has in store for me.

:uhoh3: hello everyone, i am waiting for my att letter to sit for the nclex-pn... but i am very nervous... since some of you have teken it already and passed (congratulation) i was wondering if you can tell me what came in your test the most. i know everyone has different test and questions, and depending on how weak or strong you are answering the question is how the next one comes in... but just curious what subjects/questions on your test?!

thanks!!!

ps: what does the lpn license looks like?

i have a question that needs to be cleared up....once you pass you nclex-pn how do you update ceu classes? is it through work, or do you have to do it on your own? and how often do lpn's renew their license?
