NCLEX Test Stopped at 114 Q

I took my exam today, and my monitor shutdown at 114th question. Did anyone get the same number of questions and pass?

Even if someone did get the same amount of questions as you, the amount of questions does not determine if you passed or failed. Basically, you have to wait for the results because there is no telling before hand.

I know it's a stupid question, but I can't help it... I guess I just need a little support while waiting for the result. *Sigh

Its not a stupid question... I understand exactly I am so stressed and nervous about taking the NCLEX. I can only imagine how bad its going to be waiting for the results. How do you think you did? Most people walk out afterwards saying that they don't know if they passed or failed because it could have went either way! That is what scares me, that the questions are so hard and there really is no way to know how you answered them. Try to relax even though its going to be hard.... It doesn't matter what number you stopped at, or even if you got the last wrong. I stopped at 173, got the last one wrong, and I passed. Try to do something to distract you while you wait. :p

Thank you for the support. I guess you're right, I think I'll just have to calm down and wait... this is really going to be the longest wait ever. Ugh!!!

Please try not to over analyze whether you passed or not. I agonized for 2 days. The worst thing I did was sit at the computer looking up answers and looking for people that had the same type questions, etc. My husband had to take away the computer and bring it to work I became so obsessive! I was as sure as I could be that I failed. Go out somewhere to help take your mind off of it!

:D I PASSED THE NCLEX !!! I got my unofficial result today at Pearson Vue's 900# at 9:00 am Sunday 01/25/09. It was the most nerve wracking :redbeathe telephone call that I ever made... I cried when the automated phone said "congratulations... blah blah blah" I didn't hear the rest of the message because I was running and jumping around the house with my kids and woke up my husband with a good news... :yeah: It was the greatest feeling in the whole wide world... Thank you Lord!!!!

I would like to thank you guys for your support, especially Ms. Suzanne. I used her plan. It really work with HESI as well as NCLEX!!! For the future Nclex examiner - Good Luck Guys!!! For the new nursing students, my advice is it's not too early to practice Nclex style questions while you're still in school. Also, Buy Kaplan Nclex Strategy book and Saunders 4th Edition... It'll not only help you with your NCLEX, but also with school tests. Good Luck!!:wink2:
