If you will be taking NCLEX and would like to be prayed for, can we start a fourm for this. I know that some folks are not into prayer and I don't want to offend anyone, but I sure need it!

I will be praying for you mothergoose. Stay positive and keep the faith.:saint::saint::saint::saint::saint:

Hello MotherGoose1104,

I want to wish you Good Luck tomorrow!:redpinkhe I will pray for you also but one of my favorite bible verses is Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Take a few minutes before your exam and say your prayer asking for GOD'S strength to guide you and give you a clear mind to make good safe choices.:) YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

Hi! Congrats on closing in on the finish line! Totally normal to feel nervous about the boards...I found that it was that anxiety that helped me to be more dedicated and motivated about studying.

Prayer works wonders, no pun intended! I keep prayer journals and looking back through them, the entries leading up to my exam looked more like begging than praying, but God got me through.

I did a whole lot of questions to prepare. My advice would be not to focus so much on reading content review straight from a text book. I would carefully read rationales of questions. Also, Saunder's offers condensed chapters that correlate with question sections. So if I was unfamiliar with a topic, I was sure to read that chapter.

I did not do Suzanne's plan, but I've heard that it has helped a lot of people. Consider checking it out and seeing if it is right for you.

Good luck! And don't forget to take some time out after you graduate to celebrate before you hunker down for the boards.

I am going to take the test on the upcoming Monday. It's driving me nuts. I have tachypnea, tachycardia, insomnia, anticholinergice effect, and mood disorder for the past few days. I really need the praying from all of you. Thank you!

That final week before was the worst for me too...I couldn't believe that the date was here already-I think I was in denial that October 3 (my test day) was actually going to arrive. But you'll be relieved when its over. Hang in there! Try to relax a little this weekend. Good luck and keep us posted!

Hello maxent26,

Good Luck to you on Monday! Hang in there! I understand how you are feeling I believe these emotions are normal. Try to calm down and relax this weekend so that you may perform at your highest level on Monday! I will pray for you because we are all on this same journey and will be taking the NCLEX-RN again. Ask GOD to give you strength, give you guidance before you begin your exam this Monday. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

Hey! No one feels good about the exam! The test is designed for you to get fifty percent wrong, and fifty percent correct. If you had gotten a 50% on a test in nursing school, you would be devastated! So that is why you feel the way you feel. Hang in there!
